Hyperhidrosis Treatment
Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating is a common disorder which can be embarrassing and distressing. Injections of the botulismtoxin into the underarms has, been shown to decrease sweating by approximately 80-90%. It works by blocking the chemical messenger which turns on the sweat glands. This treatment is often a great way of feeling more confident and relaxed, especially at important events such as weddings or business meetings for example.
Duration of effects
Results should be noticeable within 2-4 days of treatments with the full effect reached at 2 weeks. Dryness typically lasts 4 to 12 months.
