Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Commonly known as “Botox”, anti-wrinkle injections relax the specific muscles that contract and cause wrinkling of the skin. The result is the prevention of the formation of wrinkles and softening of the lines that are already present giving a smoother, more youthful appearance.
They can also be used to improve a “gummy” smile, reduce smoker’s lines around the mouth, and lift and tighten the neck and jawline known as the “Nefertiti lift”.
Immediate after care
We advise to avoid the use of makeup, vigorous exercise, facials, or massages for 24 hours post procedure to ensure the injections stay in the desired site.
Duration of treatment
You will begin to notice the effect of the anti-wrinkle injection within a few days, reaching its maximum effect at approximately 2 weeks. The effect gradually wears off over a period of approximately 3-4 months. This means to maintain the effects, you will need about 3-4 courses per year.
